  • Project: make a cake from scratch
 

Day 3 – Bread

  • Types of bread (crackers, flatbreads, yeast, sourdough, quick breads)
  • Kneading and rising
  • Making the perfect loaf
  • Project:  bake a loaf of bread
 

Day 4 – Cookies

  • Types of cookies (drop, roll-out, bar)
  • To spread or not to spread cookie making tips: How to change the personality of your cookies
  • Storing homemade cookies, keeping cookies soft or crisp, freezing cookies
  • Project: make cookies from scratch
