"As we painted, we celebrated color, trees, changing leaves, God's wonderful sky, ice and undersea." "The Kites"- The Curran boys love to visit Kyle and Patti Petty's Victory Junction Gang Camp in NC. The camp was established in memory of their son Adam Petty. This incredible facility opens its doors to children who are dealing with serious illnesses. Because the boys love attending the camp, one of the kites in the mural is in honor of Adam Petty. Adam was a NASCAR driver...he was #45. This mural celebrates life love and miracles!
This mural will be temporarily installed at First Christian Church Ministries Family Life Center in Kernersville. If you have suggestions for a location the mural can visit, please call The Gray Wing 336-595-3553
On the day of the unveiling, we had a celebration of life and a fundraiser. It was a wonderful day of music, crafts and fun. The Carolina Skyline Players put on an outdoor play titled, "The Mountains are a Feeling". We had local artists out supporting SDA and our family. It was an amazing day! The Ambassadors cam eout with their bikes and the boys had their first ride on a Harley.
